Reservation and Cancellation

How can I make a reservation?
Reservation can be made by phone to RAMADA Hotel Niigata. Bookings can also be made through the internet.
Can I cancel my reservation? Is there a cancellation fee?
You will be charged a designated cancellation fee (2 days prior to arrival: 10%, 1 day prior to arrival: 20%, on the day of arrival: 80%, cancellation without prior notification: 100%).

Can I request a room on a specific floor or facing a certain direction?
If you have any specific requests, please let us know upon making a reservation.
At RAMADA Hotel Niigata we do our best to fulfill the requests of our guests. However, depending on the reservation status, room type etc.
we cannot guarantee that your requests will be met. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Rooms

Are there a non-smoking rooms?
Non-smoking rooms are available. Please let us know if you would prefer a non-smoking room upon making a reservation.
Non-smoking rooms may not be available as they are limited in number. Thank you for your understanding.
Is the hotel wheelchair-accessible?
Although RAMADA Hotel Niigata is not wheelchair-accessible, there are no large steps except for certain sections of the building, so guests with wheelchairs are welcome.
What if 3 (or 4) people would like to stay in 1 room?
There are rooms for 3 or 4 people, so please inform us when making your reservation.
Please understand that as there is a limited number of rooms, there are times when they may not be available. Thank you for your understanding.

Check-in and Check-out

What is the time frame for check-in? Can I check-in late?
Check-in starts at 3 pm. Please contact us if you will be late by more than 2 hours after your scheduled time of arrival.
Your reservation may be cancelled if you do not contact us.
Can you look after my baggage before check-in?
We can look after your baggage up to 2 days prior to the date of check-in. However, it should not contain valuable/fragile items.

Can I send my baggage to the hotel beforehand?
You can send your baggage to our front desk.
Please specify your name and the date of your stay in the remarks column of the delivery slip.
Please note that RAMADA Hotel Niigata cannot receive baggage sent with cash-on-delivery.
Can I have a late check-out? Until what time?
An additional fee will be charged if the room will continue to be used after check-out (11:00 am)
1 hour per person / 1,000 Yen
After 6:00 pm …. 100% of the regular room fee
This service may not be possible depending on the room availability on the day.

Price and Payment

From what age are children charged? Is there a price for children?
Preschoolers who do not need an extra bed will not be charged.
Which credit cards are accepted?
The credit cards shown below are accepted. Please contact us if you wish to use a different type of card.

How can I make a payment on behalf of someone I invited?
Payment can be made directly at the hotel before the date of check-in or by bank transfer.

Parking

Is there a parking lot?
All parking lots have a toll with a contract based discount. More information is available from here.
Where can I park my car while staying at the hotel?
Price may vary depending on which parking lot you use.More information is available from here.
Are there vehicle types that cannot be parked?
Microbuses and large-sized buses cannot be parked.
There is a separate contract-based parking lot for these types of vehicles (4,000 yen/night).
Please reserve a spot beforehand (the parking lot is 20 minutes away from the hotel by car).
